    Dear Parents

The end of Term 3 is fast approaching!  Term 3 will end on Thursday 28th September.  Term 4 will start back Monday 16th October with the same timetable.

    Parent Viewing

A reminder that parents, siblings and friends should not be sitting in during the classes.  We find we get a lot more out of the children if they don't have any distractions. Please respect this rule.  There are waiting areas in both halls that are available for people if you want to stay at the hall while the class is being held.

We usually hold a parent viewing class once a term but due to the Cabaret we will not be holding viewings this term as there are a lot of interruptions with costume try-ons etc.

    Cabaret

The Cabaret will be held on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th November this year at the Carterton Events Centre.  The Thursday night will be seated only style with the Friday night being the Cabaret style with tables and supper provided.  Tickets will be on sale early in Term 4 so organise your friends and family for a great night out!

    Costume Deposits

We are well on the way of getting all of the costumes organised.  If you haven't done so already please make sure all costume deposits are paid immediately.  The costumes are a huge outlay so immediate attention to this would be very much appreciated.  If there is a balance to be paid an invoice will be sent via email.  Prompt payment of these would be very much appreciated.  We do try and keep the costume prices between $40 and $60.

    Drink bottles

Please encourage your child to bring their drink bottle to dancing.  The teachers end up having to clean up at the end of the night of all the cups etc in the kitchens and it would be easier if the children have their own drink.

    Absentees

A reminder to please let your childs teacher know if they are not going to be at class.  We would also appreciate it if you could tell the teacher if you are going to be late to pick your child up.  We understand sometimes circumstances do change quickly and you may be held up but a quick text to the teacher makes sure the child does not get upset.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Regards

    Jacqui
